A 2019 KWLS Emerging Writer Award Semi-Finalist for a novel in progress, Alex Bird Tillson graduated with a Journalism degree and Juris Doctorate from Indiana University. After fifteen years of entertainment law practice in Los Angeles, Alex now resides in West Palm Beach writing speculative fiction and uses her law degree to help other writers and creators with their legal questions, blogging and tweeting as her champagne-sipping alter ego, Madam Counselor. Born and mostly raised in San Juan, she speaks Spanish with enough fluency to make her island relatives roll their eyes a bit when she gets conjugations wrong.
